Safety and Operations:

Safety is our top priority. All flights are operated by FAA Part 135 certified air carriers, meeting stringent safety regulations. These operators:

  • Maintain the highest safety standards.
  • Employ experienced, highly trained pilots.
  • Adhere to rigorous aircraft maintenance protocols.

More information can be found on our Safety Playbook page.

Two! The answer is always two experienced, FAA Certified Pilots. We do not arrange single pilot operations on behalf of our Members.

We utilize a variety of safety vetted aircraft, ranging from regional turbo props such as a King Air 350 or PC-12 up to ultra long range jets such as a Gulfstream G650.  Choosing the right aircraft depends on the itinerary, group size, and desired airports. The most common size planes for quick out and back college games are light and midsize jets.

Flights typically depart from private terminals (FBOs) at both commercial and general aviation airports (private aircraft only). FBO’s are essentially hotel lobbies where passengers can enjoy a relaxed environment while waiting to check in with flight crews for their trips. We utilize a network of FBO’s around the country and more detailed information will be provided on your travel itinerary.

Both. The specific airport will depend on your final destination, the operational capabilities, and specific jet. Most college towns have smaller regional airports minutes from campus and those are the most common ones that we’ll use.

While you’ll avoid the long lines and extensive screening of commercial airports, you will need to present a valid government-issued ID (REAL ID, Passport, etc). The TSA and the FAA have regulations that must be followed for all flights, including private ones, however there are no lines or security checkpoints. We’ll run your individual TSA No Fly List background check in advance of your flight for a truly streamlined travel experience.

OTHER VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

We’re experts in private jet charters, not miracle workers. But we would suggest that in order to win, it starts with having the right culture, setting clear expectations, and building a tradition of excellence with accountability. It also helps when the stadium is filled with more fans that cheer their teams which you can contribute by joining Game Day Private Jets and flying to more games. Yes, that’s a plug for you to join. 🙂

Inspired by the mountain lions that once roamed the region, Penn State’s Nittany Lion mascot takes its name from a landmark near the University Park campus, Mount Nittany.

Of course not, but that would make for an interesting mascot. The “Boilermakers” nickname for Purdue University’s athletic teams refers to skilled tradespeople who construct and repair boilers, often associated with steam locomotives and factories. The name came to Purdue through a nickname used by the local press after a 1891 football game against Wabash College, suggesting Purdue’s players were like tough, burly workers. Purdue embraced the nickname, using it to represent the school’s strong engineering and agricultural heritage, culminating in the creation of the Boilermaker Special, a locomotive-themed mascot.

The Ohio State University uses “The” before its name for a few reasons. It was originally part of the state legislation when the university was renamed in 1878. This change aimed to distinguish the university from other colleges in Ohio and to reflect its national stature. Additionally, it helps avoid confusion with other universities that also use the abbreviation “OSU”. The emphasis on “The” has also become a tradition, often used to show pride and a sense of belonging among Buckeyes.

Well, other schools have fans, but LSU has a congregation. Their pre-game ‘sermon’ involves gourmet food, a potent selection of beverages (especially in the ‘brown water’ category), and a collective roar that starts hours before kickoff. It’s less a tailgate, more a spiritual awakening! Fun fact: In Louisiana, you check the LSU football schedule before setting a fall wedding date. Double-booking with the Bama/LSU game? That’s just plain selfish.

According to Draftkings’ Sportsbook on May 24, 2025, The Ohio State Buckeyes are the favorites to win the national championship, at +500, and Texas is at +550. You’ll see a complete list of title contenders and their current odds in this article.
